The early 2000s belonged to a special era in Louisville’s West End. From Summer 2001 through 2003, J-One became one of the voices that represented Victory Park and the city’s street rap scene. His music carried the stories, struggles, loyalty, and pride of the neighborhood, and his name is still respected by those who remember that time.
This remastered release by Faderz Up Productions is a tribute to J-One’s legacy and the memories that continue to live on in Victory Park.
Produced by K-Dog, whose beat helped shape the sound of this record, this project brings new life to a Louisville classic while honoring everyone who helped create it.
