This special edition of New Beginning Outreach Ministry features Bishop Kenneth E. Bailey and his wife, Pastor Deborah Bailey, sharing an uplifting day of testimony, faith, history, and family on WLLV Gospel 101.9 FM in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bishop Bailey came into this broadcast especially excited because he had an opportunity to sit down with family and special guests and allow them to tell their own stories about what God had done in their lives.
Among the guests were Bishop Bailey’s oldest son, Kenny, and Kenny’s wife, Bianca, along with Tia and Tanisha, who shared powerful testimonies of faith, struggle, spiritual growth, and transformation.
Tia reflected on a difficult period in her life roughly ten years earlier. While traveling home from work in downtown Louisville, she heard Bishop Bailey and Pastor Deborah Bailey on the radio. Something about their ministry connected with her. She searched for the church, eventually visited, and found a spiritual connection that would become an important part of her journey.
At that time, New Beginning Outreach Ministry was ministering in the Portland neighborhood of Louisville before eventually making its home across the river in New Albany, Indiana.
Tia and Tanisha also discussed their own ministry and broadcast, “Tea Time Testimonials,” and how sharing real-life testimony became something God placed on their hearts—even though being in front of people and speaking publicly was outside their normal comfort zone.
The conversation moves into nue, New Albany, Indiana 47150. The property began as a house and was transformed into a place of worship around 1950. Approximately 75 years later, people connected to the property’s earlier church history were able to return to the grounds and worship there again—a special full-circle moment that Bishop Bailey proudly reflected upon during this broadcast.
Today, Bishop Kenneth E. Bailey and Pastor Deborah Bailey continue the work of New Beginning Outreach Ministry, carrying forward a ministry centered on outreach, testimony, spiritual growth, family, and faith.
